Selection Criteria

Undergraduate

Programs

The selection of applicants for undergraduate programs is based on the academic performance demonstrated in the Saber 11th Grade National Exam. This admissions process is established in accordance with the provisions of Agreement 222 of 2014 of the Academic Council.

The allocation of available slots is carried out taking into account the weights assigned to each area of knowledge evaluated in the exam. Scores are ordered from highest to lowest, and slots are awarded in that order until the capacity of each academic program offered by the University is filled.

Tie-breaker

Criteria

In the event of a tie between applicants to academic programs, the allocation of the slot will be carried out following these criteria, in strict order of priority:

The slot will be assigned to the applicant with the highest overall score on the Saber 11th Grade National Exam.
If the tie persists, the highest score on the Critical Reading section of the Saber 11th Grade National Exam will be considered.
Should the tie continue, the highest score on the Social Studies and Citizenship section of the Saber 11th Grade National Exam will be evaluated.

If the tied applicants are of legal voting age, the slot will be assigned to the one who voted in the elections immediately preceding the registration date, in accordance with numeral 1 of Article 2 of Law 30 of August 27, 1997. If any of the applicants are not old enough to vote, this criterion will not be applied.
Should the tie persist, the slot will be assigned according to the order of registration recorded in the system, based on the assigned consecutive number.

1. The weighted scores reflect the maximum and minimum range obtained by applicants at the cut-off line from the admission process of November 2017 to December 2025. It is important to note that these cut-off scores do not represent the enrollment and/or admission requirements.

2. The information refers to statistical data. The cut-off scores for the next admission process may vary and depend solely on the scores of the applicants enrolled in each admission process.

3. The score in the Bachelor of Music program corresponds to the musical aptitude and knowledge test.
