Registration REQUIREMENTS
.
Anyone interested in participating in the admission process for undergraduate programs in distance and virtual learning modalities offered by the Universidad Industrial de Santander must meet the following requirements:
- Have successfully completed eleventh grade.
- Have taken the ICFES or Saber 11° exam, regardless of the date of examination.
Note 1: If admitted, students who obtained their high school diploma abroad or its equivalent must present the validation of their diploma before the Ministry of National Education. If you have not yet completed this process, please visit the following link: Degree Validation in Colombia.
Applicants are warned that the use of fraudulent means of any kind during the registration and/or admission process will result in disqualification for five years from applying and/or being admitted to any academic program at the university, without prejudice to any applicable legal sanctions. (Agreement No. 017/95 of the Superior Council).
Note 2: The tuition fee for individuals holding a professional academic degree granted by a university recognized by the Ministry of National Education will be two (2) minimum legal monthly wages (SMMLV) (Superior Council Agreement No. 016 of 2008).
Payment PROCESS

You can make the payment through electronic payment or by downloading a receipt to pay at the authorized banks (Bancolombia, B.B.V.A., BogotĂĄ, Financiera Comultrasan, Davivienda, Helm Bank, ItaĂș, Occidente, Scotiabank Colpatria). Follow the steps below:
- Click on the âMĂłdulo de Pagosâ (Payment Module) button at the bottom.
- Select the âRegistroâ (Registration) option. The information entered in the form must correspond to the person participating in the registration process.
- Once registered, click on the âServiciosâ (Services) option.
- In the âBuscar Serviciosâ (Search Services) field, type DISTANCIA (Distance Learning).
- Select the service you wish to purchase.
- Then, click âAdquirirâ (Purchase) and enter the required information.
- Finally, choose an option: Pago ElectrĂłnico (Electronic Payment) or Recibo para pago en Banco (Bank Payment Receipt) and click âConfirmarâ (Confirm).
Note 1: Under no circumstances will refunds be issued for registration payments.
Note 2: If a person registers at a cost lower than the corresponding rate for their Sisbén group, the registration will be automatically canceled at any time without prior notice.
Complete REGRISTRATION
From Tuesday, October 29, 2024, to Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at 11:50 PM, you will be able to complete the online registration process. Before proceeding with the registration, make sure you have the following documents available in PDF format:
- Identity document
- Saber 11° state exam results
Follow these steps to complete your registration:
- Click on the âMĂłdulo de Inscripcionesâ (Registration Module) button located below.
- Follow the instructions:
- Click on âRealizar InscripciĂłnâ (Complete Registration).
- Accept the terms for personal data handling.
- Select the âOTROS PAGOSâ (Other Payments) option and enter your ID number.
Important Information for the Online Registration Form
- The ICFES AC registration number entered in the web form must match the one attached in PDF format.
- For technical programs, if you have not taken the Saber 11° exam, enter the letters AC followed by your ID number (e.g., AC1234567890).
- The contact information provided during registration will be used by the university to communicate with you if necessary. Ensure that all information is accurate, up-to-date, and correctly formatted.
- It is ESSENTIAL to carefully verify all information entered because, once the registration process is closed, modifications will not be possible.
Once you have completed the registration and selected “Register Registration,” you will receive an application number and be able to print your registration confirmation, which will also be sent to the registered email address.
If you do not receive your registration confirmation, it means that the process was not completed correctly, and you will not participate in the admission process.
NOTE: The applicant must provide complete, accurate, and truthful information under their own responsibility and sworn declaration as required by UIS for the registration process for any undergraduate distance and virtual programs offered by the university. (Article 2, Agreement No. 222 of September 16, 2014, of the Academic Council).
Any false information or omission will result in the cancellation of the registration.

Pre-registered Candidates

The university will publish the list of pre-registered candidates in alphabetical order on January 16, 2025, after 5:00 p.m. It is recommended to check this section for updates.
RESULTS OF
Admission
.
The admission results will be published starting Friday, January 31, 2025, after 5:00 p.m. and can be checked in the registration module.
Admission Letter
Admitted applicants must download the admission letter after checking their results on the specified date.
